Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in cybersecurity assessments, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security strategies, policies, and procedures for clients.
  • Analyze security system logs, security events, and other data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts.
  • Contribute to risk management activities by identifying, assessing, and evaluating information security risks.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
  • Prepare clear and concise documentation, reports, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with client teams and internal EY professionals to deliver high-quality security solutions.
  • Support compliance efforts related to various regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of security tools and technologies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related technical role.
  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and best practices.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Basic knowledge of common attack vectors and defense strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
