Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security systems for anomalies, alerts, and suspicious activities, taking immediate action as required.
  • Conduct initial incident response, triage, and escalation for security events and breaches.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Analyze threat intelligence to understand new attack vectors and enhance defensive strategies.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
  • Support compliance efforts with regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and overall security performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to implement security solutions and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
  • Familiarity with operating systems security (Windows, Linux, macOS).
  • Knowledge of common attack techniques and defensive strategies.
