Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems for anomalies, alerts, and suspicious activities, taking immediate action as required.
- Conduct initial incident response, triage, and escalation for security events and breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Analyze threat intelligence to understand new attack vectors and enhance defensive strategies.
- Contribute to risk assessments and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
- Support compliance efforts with regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and overall security performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to implement security solutions and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
- Strong understanding of network security principles (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
- Familiarity with operating systems security (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Knowledge of common attack techniques and defensive strategies.
