Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Advisory Services team in Orange, California. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead complex client engagements, driving successful project delivery from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex client projects from initiation through closure, adhering to KPMG's methodologies and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and report on project status to internal stakeholders and clients regularly.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, client personnel, and external vendors.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations, overseeing the review and approval processes.
- Manage project budgets, control costs, and track financial performance against baselines.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior project team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of KPMG's project management practices and service offerings.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
