Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on various topics including corporate law, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and employment law.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, policies, memos, and client communications.
- Support legal due diligence processes for transactions and corporate initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze new legal and regulatory developments relevant to PwC's operations and client services.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including advisory, tax, and assurance services, to provide integrated legal support.
- Organize and maintain legal documentation and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist with internal and external compliance matters, ensuring adherence to legal standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of legal strategies and risk mitigation plans.
- Provide administrative and project management support to the legal team as needed.
Required Skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the California Bar, or eligibility to sit for the California Bar Exam within six months of hire.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience (including internships or clerkships) in a corporate legal department, law firm, or professional services environment.
