Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance comparisons.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze business operations, and identify areas for financial improvement.
- Research market trends, industry benchmarks, and economic conditions to inform financial strategies.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data to support management decision-making.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, modeling)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA
- CFA or CPA certification (or actively pursuing)
- Experience with financial modeling software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion) or business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment
