Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into application architectures and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost, and security, identifying and implementing optimization opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, providing expert-level support to ensure operational excellence.
- Contribute to cloud architecture reviews and provide recommendations for best practices and future-state designs.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to ongoing projects.
- Participate in client meetings to understand requirements, present solutions, and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls) in a cloud environment.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
- Knowledge of database technologies, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk).
- Prior consulting experience working with various clients and diverse project requirements.
