Key Responsibilities
- Proactively approach customers and offer assistance with their home improvement needs.
- Provide detailed product information, demonstrate product usage, and answer customer questions accurately.
- Guide customers through product selection based on their project requirements and budget.
- Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Maintain departmental standards, including stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring product displays are appealing and well-maintained.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and labeling merchandise.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner, escalating when necessary.
- Ensure a safe shopping and working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless customer service.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and store policies.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculating quantities, measurements, and processing transactions.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), and carry merchandise for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
