Key Responsibilities
- Execute all visual merchandising directives, planograms, and seasonal layouts in a timely and efficient manner.
- Create engaging and visually appealing product displays that align with Target’s brand aesthetic and promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with store leadership and merchandising teams to ensure proper product placement, signage, and inventory levels for displays.
- Maintain high standards of visual presentation, including cleanliness, organization, and functionality of all display areas.
- Monitor sales performance related to visual displays and provide feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated on current merchandising trends and best practices to continually enhance the store's visual appeal.
- Ensure all visual elements comply with safety standards and operational guidelines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in visual merchandising or a related creative retail role.
- Proven ability to create compelling and effective product displays.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, including color, balance, and composition.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting and executing detailed visual merchandising guides.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and display materials, and to stand/walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with window displays and large-scale promotional setups.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for concept development.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
