Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately.
- Sort and stock products on shelves, ensuring proper placement and organization within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, adhering to quality and accuracy standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts (with proper certification), safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals and deadlines.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring timely dispatch of goods.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing merchandise.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Commitment to adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail stockroom environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
