Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and develop electrical systems, components, and wiring for various aerospace applications, adhering to project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct electrical load analysis, power distribution design, and circuit protection studies.
- Perform detailed electrical design using CAD tools and prepare technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Support the integration and testing of electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, software, systems) to ensure seamless system integration and functionality.
- Verify and validate electrical system performance through simulations, laboratory testing, and flight test support.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, military standards) and internal company processes.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and provide expert guidance on electrical engineering aspects.
- Investigate root causes of electrical failures and develop corrective actions to enhance product reliability and safety.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in electrical system design.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical system design, development, or testing.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics).
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit theory, power distribution, and signal integrity.
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting electrical systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and specifications (e.g., MIL-STD, DO-160, ARP4754).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
