Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex engineering design, analysis, and development tasks for aerospace systems and components.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define system requirements, specifications, and design parameters.
- Conduct detailed structural, thermal, fluid, or electrical analyses using industry-standard software and methodologies.
- Develop and execute test plans, analyze test data, and troubleshoot issues to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Participate in design reviews, providing technical expertise and constructive feedback.
- Implement Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, supply chain, and field service teams as needed.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering role within aerospace, defense, or a closely related industry
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN)
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in an engineering discipline
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of aerospace certification processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA)
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement methodologies
