Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production personnel on the manufacturing floor.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards.
- Monitor production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Identify and resolve production issues, process deviations, and equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate training for team members.
- Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma principles).
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and material usage.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality, engineering, and logistics, to optimize operations.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
