Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the full cycle of recruitment processes, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs and payroll-related activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Mozambican labor laws.
  • Help coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and assist with resolving basic employee queries.
  • Support performance management processes and assist with annual reviews.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their HR needs and offer effective solutions.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or entry-level experience in an HR department.
  • Familiarity with Mozambican labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.
