Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and monitoring of supply chain activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Support inventory management processes, including stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
- Process orders, track shipments, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Maintain accurate operational data records, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Liaise with logistics providers, warehouses, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
- Provide administrative support to the operations department, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Contribute to the implementation of new operational procedures and systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or operational support role (minimum 12 months)
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proactive problem-solver with a 'can-do' attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience within a retail, manufacturing, or sporting goods environment.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Understanding of basic supply chain principles.
