Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line remote technical support for hardware, software, network, and application issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems reported by users via phone, email, and chat, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS), productivity suites (Microsoft 365), and various business applications.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies and security protocols.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and solutions in the IT service management system (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge base for common technical issues and resolutions.
  • Assist with IT asset management, including tracking, deployment, and decommissioning of hardware and software.
  • Proactively identify and suggest improvements to IT processes and systems to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in IT projects as required, providing technical expertise and support.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi) and network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
  • Experience with enterprise-level IT Service Management (ITSM) tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk).
  • Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
