Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently receive, unload, and check incoming goods against purchase orders, noting any discrepancies.
  • Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders, ensuring correct quantities and quality.
  • Safely load goods onto outgoing vehicles, adhering to company procedures and load security guidelines.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and potentially forklifts (if certified), in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, regularly conducting housekeeping duties.
  • Perform stock rotation and inventory checks, reporting any shortages or damages.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English).
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Forklift truck licence (reach or counterbalance) – training may be provided for the right candidate.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
