Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and transformation of large datasets from various sources.
- Perform initial data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain routine reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting thorough quality checks.
- Present findings and insights clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance analytical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
- Foundational knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Exposure to statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) for data analysis
