Key Responsibilities
- Execute laboratory experiments and tests according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Collect, record, and organize experimental data accurately and systematically.
- Perform preliminary data analysis and interpret results, preparing summaries for senior researchers.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of chemicals and materials.
- Assist in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to P&G's quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and manufacturing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory and research processes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 1 year of practical laboratory experience (academic research, co-op, or industry).
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal (English and French).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Experience in the consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or food and beverage industries.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced bilingualism (French and English).
