Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, unload, and accurately store incoming materials and finished products in designated warehouse locations.
- Precisely pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to order specifications and deadlines.
- Safely operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery (comprehensive training provided if necessary).
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure data integrity.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, P&G policies, and quality assurance standards to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times, ensuring operational readiness.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to optimize workflow, enhance productivity, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on products and packaging before storage or shipment to ensure product integrity.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective team interaction.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform physical tasks.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and adherence to all company procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Oakville facility, ensuring punctuality and consistent attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS) for tracking and recording.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, record keeping, and communication.
