Key Responsibilities

  • Assist audit teams with the planning, execution, and completion of various audit engagements.
  • Perform initial review and analysis of financial statements and supporting documentation, identifying discrepancies or areas of concern.
  • Gather and meticulously analyze financial data, including invoices, bank statements, ledger entries, and other crucial records.
  • Document audit findings accurately and prepare comprehensive working papers in strict accordance with BDO's established methodologies and professional standards.
  • Participate actively in client meetings and interact professionally with client personnel under the guidance and supervision of senior team members.
  • Learn and diligently apply relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, K3) and audit methodologies to practical scenarios.
  • Support senior auditors with various administrative tasks and research related to ongoing audit engagements.
  • Actively participate in all internal training sessions, workshops, and continuous professional development initiatives.
  • Adhere to strict deadlines, manage time effectively, and maintain consistently high-quality standards in all assigned tasks.
  • Develop a fundamental understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and core business processes across different industries.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving abilities with a logical approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of articulating complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.

  • Familiarity with audit software, data analytics tools, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Active pursuit of or strong interest in professional accounting qualifications (e.g., K3, ACCA, CPA equivalent).
