Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust automated packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Perform routine quality checks on packaged products, materials, and processes, ensuring adherence to P&G's strict quality standards.
- Conduct minor troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Document production data, including output, quality metrics, and maintenance activities, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality deviations promptly.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and system monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially in packaging
- Post-secondary education or technical training in a related field (e.g., Electro-Mechanical Technician)
- Experience with SAP or other manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks
