Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular inventory reconciliation processes.
- Prepare and analyze supply chain reports, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, sales) and external partners (e.g., carriers, suppliers) to ensure efficient operations.
- Process purchase orders and invoices related to supply chain activities, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Support the optimization of logistics processes and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding order status, logistics, and inventory.
- Assist in data entry, document management, and other administrative tasks to support the supply chain department.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain performance and innovation.
Required Skills
- 1+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or administrative support role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for data analysis.
- Strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under deadlines.
- Knowledge of basic supply chain principles and logistics operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Understanding of Canadian transportation regulations and customs procedures.
- Prior experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
- Certifications in supply chain or logistics (e.g., CSCMP, APICS).
