Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Facebook Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team in Montreal. This role is crucial for enhancing Meta’s presence and engagement across Facebook and Instagram platforms, focusing on brand voice, community building, and strategic content deployment. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy, ensuring alignment with our overarching marketing goals and brand guidelines. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and audience engagement techniques, with a proven track record of growing social media presence and fostering positive community interaction. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for Facebook and Instagram to align with Meta’s marketing objectives.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, image, and video) that reflects Meta’s brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a 'social' way while cultivating leads and sales, fostering a vibrant online community.
- Analyze social media campaign performance, audience engagement, and overall social media presence using analytics tools.
- Identify and track relevant social media trends, tools, and applications, and actively participate in team strategy sessions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, communications, product development) to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Execute paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, ad creative, and performance optimization.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience managing social media for a brand or agency, with a strong focus on Facebook and Instagram.
- Proven ability to create compelling and engaging content across various formats.
- In-depth knowledge of Facebook and Instagram platforms, including their algorithms, analytics tools, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and brand voice.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to drive strategic decisions.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is highly desirable for our Montreal office.
