Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve web applications and services using Google's technology stack.
  • Collaborate with product management and design teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and Google's coding standards.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high code quality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Stay informed about the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and growth.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in front-end web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Strong understanding of server-side programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go) and relevant frameworks.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
