Key Responsibilities
- Receive and stow products in designated locations within the fulfillment center.
- Efficiently pick customer orders using handheld scanning devices and prepare them for packaging.
- Pack and ship customer orders according to Amazon's quality standards and timelines.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT equipment) like forklifts or order pickers (training provided, where applicable).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and quality goals.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with equipment or processes, escalating when necessary.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures, loud noises, and fast-paced operations.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet (with proper safety equipment and training).
- Adherence to strict safety, quality, and production standards.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or general labor role.
- Experience using handheld scanning devices or warehouse management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
