Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demands, and optimize inventory levels.
- Monitor and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and implement customized supply chain solutions.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current processes and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and performance standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on supply chain performance, key metrics, and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Utilize supply chain software and tools to track, manage, and report on all aspects of the supply chain.
- Participate in project teams focused on new client implementations or operational enhancements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for specific supply chain segments, providing guidance and support.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years (36 months) of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), or CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution).
- Experience with lean methodologies or Six Sigma.
- Prior experience in a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) environment.
- Familiarity with global logistics and international trade regulations.
