Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and disembarkation procedures, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Handle baggage efficiently and safely, including loading, unloading, and sorting luggage for departing and arriving flights.
  • Operate various ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, baggage carts, and belt loaders (training provided).
  • Perform aircraft pushback and wing-walking duties, ensuring clear communication with the flight crew.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks of aircraft and surrounding areas for safety and security.
  • Maintain clear and accurate communication with flight crews, control towers, and other ground personnel.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and airport procedures.
  • Respond to passenger inquiries and resolve issues professionally and courteously.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet flight schedules and operational targets.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain an airport Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and pass a background check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Physical ability to lift heavy luggage (up to 70 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, aviation, or a similar operational role
  • Familiarity with airport operations and procedures
  • Proficiency in additional languages
