Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer bases.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs for team members.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze market trends, and prepare comprehensive sales reports for management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical sales practices.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and escalations, providing exemplary service and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to optimize sales efforts and introduce new offerings.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with key clients.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Vodacom products, services, and competitive landscape.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in sales leadership or a senior sales role (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and customer service practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
  • Results-oriented with a strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Valid Mozambican driving license and willingness to travel as required
