Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using Intel technologies.
- Optimize cloud workloads for performance and cost efficiency, leveraging Intel Xeon processors and other hardware accelerators.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for automated provisioning and configuration management.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to integrate new Intel technologies into cloud platforms.
- Perform performance analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting of cloud environments and applications.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented across cloud infrastructure, adhering to industry standards and corporate policies.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide expert-level support for critical cloud services.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, Intel product roadmaps, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, operations, and processes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or private cloud solutions (OpenStack, VMware).
- Strong understanding of Intel architecture, including CPUs, chipsets, and memory technologies.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, and storage solutions in a cloud context.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Go, Bash).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with Intel-specific software tools and optimization libraries (e.g., OpenVINO, oneAPI).
- Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
