In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, designing, and refining the user experience for cutting-edge Intel products, spanning hardware, software, and integrated platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive, elegant, and impactful user interfaces and experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full design lifecycle from concept generation, user research, and competitive analysis to detailed UI/UX design, prototyping, and testing.
  • Collaborate closely with product management to define product requirements, user stories, and feature specifications, ensuring a cohesive product vision.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility of designs and provide guidance throughout the development process to maintain design integrity.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iteratively improve design solutions and validate design choices.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and design patterns to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
  • Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, advocating for user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design approaches and product innovation.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a breadth of UI/UX design work, including web, mobile, or desktop applications.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and design thinking methodologies.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a design-related field.
  • Experience designing for complex technical products or platforms, particularly in semiconductor, enterprise software, or hardware integration.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with motion design and animation tools.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate better collaboration with engineers.
