Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and passionate Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team in Long Beach, California. As an Intel Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Intel’s cutting-edge software and hardware products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases, meticulously identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and collaborating closely with development and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software and hardware products.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Automate test cases where appropriate, utilizing scripting languages and testing frameworks.
- Analyze test results, prepare detailed test reports, and provide recommendations for product improvement.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential quality issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, strategies, and technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans and test cases.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
