Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and debug high-quality software solutions for Intel's hardware platforms and products across various computing environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, architects, and validation teams, to define software requirements and interfaces.
  • Optimize software for performance, power efficiency, and security across various operating systems, ranging from low-level firmware to user-facing applications.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and ensure adherence to best coding practices and software development methodologies.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve development processes and enhance product capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot complex software issues, analyze root causes, and provide timely, effective resolutions.
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept and architectural design to deployment, maintenance, and ongoing support.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience with Linux or Windows operating systems development environments.
  • Familiarity with software development tools (e.g., debuggers, profilers, version control systems like Git).
  • Solid problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a capacity to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python scripting for automation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of CPU architecture, memory management, and multi-threading/multi-processing concepts.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, device drivers, or firmware development.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native application development.
  • Understanding of AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenVINO).
  • Prior experience in the semiconductor industry or with hardware-software co-design.
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline.
