Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Apple's diverse range of products and services, including software applications, operating systems, and integrated hardware components.
- Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues using established bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate closely with development, product management, and design teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain detailed, clear, and reproducible bug reports and test documentation.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and other agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback on product quality and release readiness.
- Set up and maintain test environments and test data as needed.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure that issues are resolved according to quality standards and timelines.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in macOS and iOS environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.
- A passion for Apple products and technology, with a strong user-centric mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks and scripting (e.g., Python, Swift, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with various testing types, including performance, security, and accessibility testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
- Prior experience testing consumer electronics or software platforms.
