Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features and existing functionalities within Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom Salesforce applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira), ensuring thorough and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings to provide quality assurance insights.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Salesforce testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Apex testing) where applicable.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities are not adversely affected by new changes.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure defects are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Provide regular status updates on testing progress and defect metrics to project stakeholders and leadership.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on Salesforce platform testing.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, standard objects, custom objects, workflows, process builders, and validation rules.
  • Experience with various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201).
  • Experience with automated testing tools for Salesforce (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing).
  • Basic understanding of Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Experience with data migration and integration testing within Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of SOQL and SOSL queries.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in a Salesforce development environment.
