Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join our innovative team in New York, New York, for an immediate start. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth business process analysis and gather detailed requirements from stakeholders across various departments.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and comprehensive functional specifications and user stories for Salesforce solutions.
  • Design and propose effective Salesforce configurations and declarative solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Architects to ensure technical designs meet business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide training to end-users on new Salesforce functionalities.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, data models, use cases, and training materials.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Salesforce platform to enhance business efficiency.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce, advising stakeholders on platform capabilities and limitations.
  • Manage backlog, prioritize features, and support project management activities in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on Salesforce platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities (workflows, process builder, custom objects, fields, validation rules).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in creating process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder or Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud Consultant certifications.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Previous consulting experience with external clients.
  • Familiarity with data migration strategies and tools within Salesforce.
