Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technicians to join our dynamic team in Raleigh, NC. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor advanced manufacturing equipment and robotic systems according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative measures on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues that arise during production.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections on products to ensure they meet Tesla’s stringent specifications and quality standards.
  • Document production activities, maintenance records, and quality control data accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new technologies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, promoting a culture of 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
  • Assist with material handling and inventory management as needed to support production flow.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field (e.g., Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology).
  • Experience with automated manufacturing systems, robotics, or PLCs.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
  • Previous experience in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
