Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for Tesla's automotive and energy products, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety.
- Perform detailed circuit design, simulation, and analysis for various applications including power electronics, embedded control systems, and high-voltage distribution networks.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into overall product architecture.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures to rigorously validate electrical component performance, subsystem functionality, and overall system reliability.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for electrical system failures, implementing robust corrective actions and preventative measures to enhance product quality.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards, budget constraints, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical engineering to continuously improve product design and development processes.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to manufacturing, service, and field teams for electrical system issues and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to the development of design specifications, validation plans, and production documentation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in electrical system design, development, and rigorous testing.
- Proficiency with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Allegro).
- Strong understanding of power electronics, analog and digital circuit design principles, and signal integrity.
- Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and familiarity with firmware development processes.
- Familiarity with high-voltage systems and electrical safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Direct experience with electrical systems in the automotive, aerospace, or renewable energy industries.

- Proficiency in simulation tools like SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or ANSYS.
