Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for Tesla's automotive and energy products, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Perform detailed circuit design, simulation, and analysis for various applications including power electronics, embedded control systems, and high-voltage distribution networks.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into overall product architecture.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures to rigorously validate electrical component performance, subsystem functionality, and overall system reliability.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis for electrical system failures, implementing robust corrective actions and preventative measures to enhance product quality.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards, budget constraints, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in electrical system design, development, and rigorous testing.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Allegro).
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, analog and digital circuit design principles, and signal integrity.
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and familiarity with firmware development processes.
