Key Responsibilities
- Perform various production assembly operations on components or sub-assemblies, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Operate manual and automated manufacturing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections on products throughout the production process, identifying and reporting any defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S principles and other organizational standards.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to production schedules and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and physical exertion (e.g., standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs for extended periods).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and operational systems.
- Willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly role.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
