Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
- Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions utilizing IBM technologies and industry best practices.
- Lead and participate in the implementation of complex technical projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to client teams and junior consultants.
- Develop and present technical proposals, statements of work, and project plans to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for clients.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and IBM's product roadmap to continually enhance solution offerings.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and other consulting teams to ensure integrated and holistic client solutions.
- Contribute to IBM's thought leadership through whitepapers, presentations, and community engagement.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical consulting or architect role.
- Proven experience with at least two of the following: Cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML technologies, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Integration (APIs, Microservices).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant technical or business field.
- Certifications in IBM technologies or other major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience in specific industry sectors such as Financial Services, Public Sector, or Healthcare.
