Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage Mascom's social media strategy in alignment with overall marketing goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, image, video) for all social media platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid promotions, contests, and interactive initiatives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using appropriate analytics tools, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Engage with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and manage Mascom's online reputation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, PR, customer service, product development) to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaigns.
  • Identify and interpret emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep Mascom at the forefront of digital communication.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and stay updated on industry developments.
  • Oversee social media budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • Develop and enforce social media guidelines and policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of various social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of social media KPIs and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics).
  • Ability to create engaging visual and written content.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) for basic content creation.
