Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications, ensuring product integrity and quantity correctness.
  • Operate manual and powered equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if needed).
  • Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) handheld scanners or other technology to track inventory and update order status.
  • Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure they meet standards before packing and shipping.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the Richmond facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or order picking role.
  • Familiarity with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
