Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers on the sales floor, providing exceptional service and product knowledge.
- Process and merchandise new inventory, ensuring items are accurately ticketed, displayed, and replenished.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, fitting rooms, and stockroom.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling various payment methods and processing returns/exchanges.
- Support loss prevention efforts by being vigilant and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and provide mutual support.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and guide them to products they will love.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Capacity to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
