Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and direct store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Coach, train, and develop partners on drink preparation, customer service best practices, and operational procedures to maintain Starbucks' high standards.
- Ensure all partners adhere to Starbucks’ operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety protocols, and health regulations.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including comprehensive cash management, inventory reconciliation, and store security procedures.
- Create and maintain a positive, uplifting, and productive work environment that fosters teamwork and partner engagement.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints professionally and efficiently, and ensure a consistently positive customer experience.
- Support the Store Manager in training new partners, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating the ongoing development of the team.
- Maintain impeccable store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to all health and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage product ordering, and minimize waste to ensure optimal stock levels and operational efficiency.
- Actively drive sales and productivity through excellent service, expert product knowledge, and promotional initiatives.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment.
- 1+ year of supervisory or team leadership experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve complex customer issues.
- Proficient in managing operational tasks efficiently, including inventory, cash handling, and scheduling.
- Competency in basic computer applications and experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Prior experience with Starbucks operational procedures, product knowledge, and brand standards.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field.
