Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and other baked goods according to Starbucks recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food items are prepared and displayed attractively and fresh for customers throughout the day.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and finished products, assisting with ordering and stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the store team to ensure seamless operations and timely availability of baked goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient baking area and overall workspace.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Starbucks' mission and values.
- Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed to support store operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation (professional or serious home baking experience).
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
