Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Reconcile various general ledger accounts, bank statements, and other financial records.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects as assigned by senior management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
