Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior designers in developing design concepts, space plans, and detailed drawings.
  • Prepare presentations for client meetings, including mood boards, material samples, and 3D renderings.
  • Conduct research on materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting solutions to support project needs.
  • Create 2D plans and elevations using AutoCAD and 3D models using SketchUp or similar software.
  • Maintain project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and budgets.
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits, taking notes and assisting with communication.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is carried through to execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and sustainable design practices.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the design team.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity (academic or personal projects included)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape)
  • Familiarity with Revit or other BIM software
  • Basic understanding of building codes and accessibility standards
  • Knowledge of Czech furniture manufacturers and material suppliers
  • Proficiency in Czech language (advantageous, but not strictly required)
