Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in developing design concepts, space plans, and detailed drawings.
- Prepare presentations for client meetings, including mood boards, material samples, and 3D renderings.
- Conduct research on materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting solutions to support project needs.
- Create 2D plans and elevations using AutoCAD and 3D models using SketchUp or similar software.
- Maintain project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Participate in client meetings and site visits, taking notes and assisting with communication.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is carried through to execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and sustainable design practices.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the design team.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity (academic or personal projects included)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape)
- Familiarity with Revit or other BIM software
- Basic understanding of building codes and accessibility standards
- Knowledge of Czech furniture manufacturers and material suppliers
- Proficiency in Czech language (advantageous, but not strictly required)
