Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to internal employees via various channels including in-person, phone, email, and chat, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide array of hardware, software, and network connectivity issues across diverse platforms, including Windows, macOS, and basic Linux environments.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory, Google Workspace, and other identity management systems.
- Assist with the seamless onboarding of new employees, which includes setting up equipment, granting system access, and providing fundamental IT orientation.
- Document technical issues, their resolutions, and standard operating procedures meticulously in our knowledge base to facilitate future problem-solving.
- Escalate more complex and persistent technical issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams when necessary, providing comprehensive diagnostic information.
- Actively participate in various IT projects and initiatives, contributing to system upgrades, rollouts, and infrastructure improvements as directed.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory and asset management records, ensuring all equipment is tracked and accounted for.
- Ensure strict compliance with company IT policies, security best practices, and data protection regulations to safeguard organizational assets.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and fundamental networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
