Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service, assisting with inquiries and locating products.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure product availability, adhering to visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for both guests and team members.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, sorting, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
- Support team members in various departments as needed to ensure smooth store operations and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety, security, and operational guidelines.
- Handle guest returns and exchanges with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Operate various store equipment, such as cash registers, scanners, and stocking aids, safely and effectively.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Capacity to lift and move merchandise up to 40 lbs (18 kg) regularly.
- Proven reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is a significant asset for our Quebec location.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
