Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service during checkout.
- Accurately process all transactions including cash, credit, debit, gift cards, and other payment methods.
- Scan items efficiently and ensure correct pricing for all merchandise.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy checkout lane and surrounding area.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve minor issues, escalating complex problems to management.
- Promote loyalty programs, special offers, and services to guests.
- Assist with bagging merchandise carefully and efficiently.
- Adhere to all cash handling and security procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to operate a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
