Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver customer orders to designated locations within the Detroit area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety guidelines while operating a company vehicle.
- Verify order accuracy and collect necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any delivery-related questions or concerns professionally.
- Utilize delivery application and GPS for route optimization and order management.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle with care, ensuring products remain undamaged.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic operational checks of the company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, store management, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
- Process returns or undeliverable items according to company policy.
- Work independently while adhering to scheduled delivery times and maintaining productivity.
Required Skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
